Are you experiencing any problems or are they just going to load it for free?
Are we supposed to get an update every time there is a new version or does it depend on the dealership?

Wiu-Bimmer. Normally you only get a free update when you have problems with your I-Drive. If you want a free update just tell your dealer the I-Drive froze on you and they will give you one.

I wonder if the maximum updates story still is true.. I find it hard to believe that you can updat the cars I-drive a maximum number of times. Anybody heard more of this?

I have two problems. Radio turns on when car is started.
Auto headlights come on during sunlight.
Dealer has tried to fix headlights even changed light sensor.

I dont need a chime...I feel so ...naked without my seatbelt on. I gather that I am also getting the newest software upgrade today. I just know that the idiot at the service center told me that a new version of iDrive should fix all my ills. We shall see.
