It seems that you can deactivate the seatbelt chime (not the warning, just the chime) with software version 13...
I found that info on another forum and I am not sure about it.

Does anybody has version 13 allready ?

You might ask your dealer before you drive off. Maybe it's a dealer setting!?
There are different opinions on it and I haven't heard of anybody who actually confirms this... Just different ppl saying that this is a feature of s/w version 13...

Why would anyone, in their right mind, want this feature. Put on your d*mn seat belt and shut up!

Your conscience,

Sam

That's right!
But there are allways some ppl asking this question here on the board...
And actually I find the chime annoying - if I really forgett and I'll get the warning message I would then buckle up. I don't need the chime. But I have HUD and see the warning in there.
I think there are a lot of ppl who would really love to deactivate the chime and keep the warning message...

You can go straight to software version 13. Unless you already have s/w version 13 of course..

I prefer not to drive onto ferries with a seat belt done up. This is the only time I drive without one and the chime is then rather annoying since it doesn't shut off.

I wish i had a SIREN, so that it wakes me up in case i forget, instead of a chime of the lovely 'ding ding'

A seat belt is your best friend on the roads..

My software was updated this past weekend, the invoice says "Update with v12 or higher. I lost RDS but got hourly chime I believe that what was loaded in my car was 12.something. The service rep did not know.
I think v.13 is not available yet in the US because I have not heard from anyone with it.
