Hi all!
I'm having some annoying issues with the heating of the driver seat (Comfort seats).
During the last week, when the winter kicked-in in Denmark, the seat is not heated, only the back of the seat (upper part).
There are no error codes.
Could it be a loose connection under the seat, or is it the heating-pad in the seat?
Anyone with a similar seat heating experience?

I don't know if you have i-drive, but mine is adjustable through a seat heating setting in i-drive and you can choose what part of the seat gets heat. Hopefully that will help.
I've had the car for 5 years and 200.000 km's so I pretty much know the i-drive in&out, so it's not so simple
But thanks!

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
Same thing happened to me on an older BMW. Dealer said it was the heating pad and they replaced it under CPO warranty. G/L

maybe someone can chime in here and elaborate, but i am pretty sure some e60s had faulty heating pads that caught fire. BMW recalled a bunch.

That Service Bulletin was a problem with the Passenger seat heaters if my memory serves me correctly

Winter in Denmark with the global warming conference disintegrating before our eyes? How can this be happening?

Not just passenger side, driver's side as well. Some driver's reported VERY toasty buns and burnt seats because of this issue. The air bag seat sensor on the passenger side was another issue...
