Hi there,
The seat extension on the driver seat is getting stuck. Suprising, as I rarely adjust it.
At first, it was not responding to the switch. Now its responding in slow fashion and juttering as it moves. Wonder if it needs to be lubed or if the motor is going out.
Anybody dealt with a similar issue?

My Ride: '05 545i SMG, 35% Tint, LED Angel Eyes
It's got to be the bad actuator motor under the seat. I believe there are upto 5 actuator motors that assist in adjusting the various seat positions on the E60 depending on the type of seat you have. The exact same motor on my E65 went out not too long ago which was fixed under warranty. It's not a cheap part unfortunately. Look for the part on realoem.com.

My passenger seat extension went out too. Luckily,the SA had it fixed for me.
