Hi,
I?m hoping someone can help me. I have A 2006 BMW 550I with the Sport Package and when I?m accelerating,decelerating or tap the brake to come to a stop about 10 mph to 0 mph, I hear a click coming from the lower right of the driver seat were the top and bottom of the seat meet. I took it to the dealer and they could not find the problem? The dealer took the seat apart and lube some of the metal pieces and it?s still there. Is it me or has anybody else have this problem?

I have some annoying noises that come from my drivers seat. I first interpreted them as a "clicking" but after a while realized it was just the plastic parts "creeking" (if that's even the right word). I do intend to have my SA look into fixing it as it is annoying on a car of this price.

I had more of a "creaking" problem with mine, turned out to be a faulty seat frame which needed total replacement. Very glad of the warranty on that one, sounded expensive!

I too get minor creaking at times... I think its all the plasticy pieces, and my 225lb fat ass rofl

I've noticed the same on my new 2008 535i (only 3k km). The noise is from the driver seat only and mainly when accelerating ... I'm not sure if it's cause by the very cold weather (-10 C). It's on my list on item to review at my next visit at the dealership.
