Maybe the diet is working?
I have lost 10 lbs, so maybe.

Well, I had it twice and the problem allways disappeared after a reboot.
Rebooting as in turning the car off and then restarting it? Cause I've done that more than once and it hasn't done anything.

Yep.
The problem that I had seems to be a permanent problem on your car.

Well I guess if I'm going to have a problem on the car I'm glad it's that one.

As long as you still get the warning messages...

...enjoy the silence!

Well, I basically tore apart the entire inside of my car this weekend to try and find out why my car doesn't ding anymore and it did me no good, I still can't figure it out. Although I do know how to take apart and reassemble the entire interior of a BMW 5 series now, so that's cool. It'll come in handy when I decide to do the two tone suede interior.

:'(

Perhaps another silly idea - but have you tried running the CC Test in the cluster "hidden" menu? IIRC, that sounds a bong several times as it goes through the checks.

At least if it does it there you know it's nothing to do with the "audio" part of the thing. Plus, it's a 1 minute test that does not even need a screwdriver to perform - only a thumb!

Here is a link to how I stopped that annoying seat belt chime.

Enjoy and remember to always wear your seat belt.
