My wife is a doctor, she states very clearly:
"Wear your seatbelt jackass! because if you get paralized after being thrown from the car, I'm divorcing you".
she has no plans of wiping my ass for me for the rest my life. She is at a major teaching hospital here in the northeast and sees a huge difference between restrained and unrestained drivers.

Unforutunately she is not wrong, the smart thing is to wear your seatbelt, and yes it is a struggle for me too!

I wear my belt 98% of the time. That being said, who wants a car that basically makes them do something that they may not want to do? I certainly don't. It's annoying, and I'm glad it stopped.
What's next? No eating in the car alarm? That's dangerous. Take out the cupholders? Drinking in the car certainly could distract and kill you. How about a reduced speed limiter, boys and girls? Caps your speed at, say, 55mph? Oh, and I forgot those damn cell phones? Deadly. The car could limit each call to 30 seconds, maximum of three calls per day.

Conversations with them are just as dangerous as cellphone calls, if not even worse...

My Ride: Ordered Jan 11/05
545 Step, Black Saphire, Truffle Brown, Sport, Logic, Sat Prep
Waiting.........................
I was told by the head BMW body repair specialist at my dealer that all you have to do is snip the wire that goes to the chime speaker under the dash. Although he said HE would not do it.
Maybe I can find someone else to do it, like a car stereo place.
