What am I doing wrong? No matter, if I use the advanced search on the top of the page or the forum specific search on the bottom of the page, I get posts that are non-related to what I am searching for. Before the forum changed I had no problem whatsoever in performing searches. The search application has been completely useless to me recently. Today I searched for "software version" and nothing even closely related was returned. I must be doing something wrong, can someone please straighten me out.

Thanks

not really doing anything wrong, agreed the new forum SW search function is no where near as user friendly or helpful as the older version. Are you using quotation marks and the "+" sign as well to combine word phrases? it takes me a bit longer to find threads as well, sometimes he search lists are incomplete, even if you know the author of the thread/post it does not show up...

admins/mods: please advise.

I agree.

Every time I search on this forum I feel the same way I do when I ask my wife a question...I know I'm going to get 100 responses and none of them will be what I am looking for.

I haven't found that quotes, + or & work. The only way I have been able to successfully search is to ONLY use ONE KEY word.

The plus sign clearly works but I agree that there are times when you get strange results...
