Screeching Front Brakes

My front brakes on my 2004 530i screech like crazy after I drive for a while, especially when i get off the freeway and am about to park in the garage, when i first start applying pressure on the brakes until the car is about to stop, the sound is ridiculous. I took it to 2 different shops and they basically said the same thing, the pads and rotors are fine, the second guy who i took it to has been working on BMW and Mercedes for 20 something years, he said the same thing but added that its possible that their are "cheap" pads on the front. What do you guys think?
