My car was perfect until today.. , Now I have a big scratch on my rear bumper possibly by some one's shopping cart. The cart was still there when I came back to my car. Its on the driver side. Any idea as how to fix it with out going to insurance? .

Why am I taking my e60 to stop and shop rather than my old camry?

A pic might help in determining the extent of the damage.

If the scratch is not into the pigment a good detail shop might help make it less noticeable. I hate lazy people who don't have enough energy to return a shopping cart to cart return spots in these parking lots. The worse are those who let them roll away into parked cars! Malls are the worse ... door dings waiting to happen!!

Some people are so careless. Sorry to hear. Hopefully, one of the experts can diagnose.
