Scanner suggestions for multiple cars + E60 of course
Any of you guys have a OBD2 scanner for your E60 that you use on other cars? What would you recommend? Primarily I want to to read Toyota (Lexus), Honda (Acura), and BMW. I already have INPA on a laptop form my E60 but I wouldn't mind having a multi car scanner to have around.
So far I saw brands from Innova, Actron, Acutel. Any brand\model suggestions?

You're talking about software that is going to read all of those proprietary makes? Different cabling altogether. Unless you want to by a J2534 cable and use the online tools. Some charge around $1 per hour subscription.

Hmmmm...I was thinking more of something I can throw in the toolbox but I'm open to computer software based to install on a laptop. I guess that would save space. I have a USB OBD 2 \ CAN cable I use on my car, will that work? What software do you recommend?
