Anyone know about the RDC module (or likely other electronics modules)

My wife's car has lost her RDC module (for the TPMS). It looks like some water leaked into the trunk and killed it. So, I pulled out the module and I'm looking at it and I'm trying to find a replacement but the numbers on the bugger don't seem to correspond to anything. I'm wondering if anyone knows about these things. I don't want to order an electronics component and find out I can't use it/return it.
I'm attaching a pic of mine below. You notice the top line of the label has a number which doesn't seem to correspond to anything in the parts catalog. Does anyone know what this is and if it matters?
I dug around on my realoem and found this RealOEM.com * BMW E60 530i Tire pressure control (RDC) - ctrl unit. Part # 1 seems to be the module with a part number of 36236785279. When I look for that part number I can find that part but the pictures always show something with a different set of numbers on them (for instance ECS Tuning has Home Page > ES#254885 CONTROL UNIT RDC - 36236785279). Does that matter?
I'm guessing someone here has poked around with some electronics component and seen something similar. My gut says it's probably something software revision related and I'll pull the trigger unless someone screams.
Thanks in advance.
