Saw my first 545i on the road the other day.

Out here in Brussels they are very rare, to be honest I have not seen one as the oil-burners are the engines of choice here. I have seen quite a few 645Cis, but then again they only have the petrol versions.

I hope to be one of the first in the Boston area to start a 550 club!

"Up in the club" like 50 Cent! :winkcool:
How about that 50 Cent with a 550i, 650i or 750i.

We always wave and smile whenever we see each other because obviously we both have great taste in the cars we chose to drive...
But true, I really don't see many of the V8's...
Yeah, she's kinda hot. Asian, honey colored skin, pretty smile/face. She definately scores a few extra points for the car though...
I've noticed this too...an average girl in a really HOT car (545i) usually looks a lot better while she's in the car compared to when she actually steps out. Automaticaly, she gets 2-3 points extra on a scale of 1-10. I'm sure all the married guys out there don't really care

My Ride: 535D Sport Auto
Sorry my topic was a bit UK specific. I meant 545i's in the UK. They don't seem to be very popular here as I have only ever seen one since the E60 was launched.

My Ride: 545i Sport; sapphire black metallic; comfort; nav; sirius; split-folding rear; auto
I am in Manhattan- don't see many other than mine. Maybe 2 a week. My dealer explained that other than for BMW owned dealerships, which get 4, most dealers are only allocated one 545 per month. I am friends with the owner of the dealership so prob. accurate info.
I used to live in Chelsea in London, and a 545i probably would have been one of the cheaper cars in the neighborhood! I had a pathetic E240 Mercedes at the time (company provided - the thing was purple! - you can't even get that engine or color in the US). It definitely brought up the rear in Chelsea, which was studded with Aston Martins, Maseratis and Ferraris. I felt poor. But given the price of gas in the UK I am not surprised you don't see more 45's. Which also explains the availability of my E240, with its more efficient but smaller engine.
