Of course it makes sense to unify manufacturing lines and introduce newer technologies.

But, a case in point with the 535i for example, we have seen ONE document on here which indicates that, at initial launch at least, the 535i is for the US market only.

But, when it comes to faith, no one can influence our beliefs.

Even if the beliefs are bonkers.

ABC
ABC, where is that ONE document?

Earlier in this thread. It's in Dutch but the key "information" is in the third table.

535i (US)/540i RoW (I assume Rest of World).

A Babelfish translation of the Dutch is earlier in this thread too.

As ABC would say. That is not a fact therefore it can not be certain it is YOUR guess and until we see official information from BMW then there is no point making statements like this.

;-)

(sorry my friend)
Indeed... But now confirmed! <_<

There are some pretty good innovations , USB port for Ipod or memory stick access via the Idrive and the lane departure vibrates the steering wheel if it detects you moving off line .. nice!

Yeah, ~245bhp is the next move (about half way between updated 525d and 535d) but I don't think that update is going to come quite yet... However, all speculation still
So, the 530d will receive a small increase to 235bhp from 231bhp... The 520d is left alone and the 525d/535d receives the 197/286bhp as expected...

Surprised

Where did you find info about how this feature works. I can't find anything in the spec released today/tonight about this one?

There is a E60 LCI product overview bulletin released to the UK dealers by BMW UK, I work at a UK dealer. We (UK) are also getting the M5 touring as well!

OK Thanks.
