My Ride: 2005 545i SMG, silver grey, black dakota leather
![Default](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
I just returned from the local BMW dealer after taking a manual 335i coupe for a test drive (sweet car BTW). I asked about the facelift and more specifically about the 535i timeline. I was told for the U.S., March builds and April availability. Further, I was told 335xi and 535xi versions were coming as well. Not sure if this is news or accurate, just wanted to pass it along. I am growing tired of my 05 545i SMG (can't warm up to that tranny) and will pobably make a move this spring. The twin turbo six should be a real good fit for the 5'er IMO.

Unless part of the process for US delivery is speeded up.

My Ride: 535d m sport - 9 Weeks to go!!
![Default](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
Now been watching this thread very quietly for some time. I, like many others have delayed my order waiting for 'news' of the face lift, I have ?1000 sat in a dealer bank account earning them interest!!! Would be interesting to know how many people are genuinely holding off for news of an updated car. I had originaly ordered a fairly well speced 535d m sport, my dealer was happy to delay and stated that they would know about any week 9 facelift by the 25th of Jan - surprised to hear that we could be seeing something today.......

It it were available a few months ago, I would have gone ahead with an order.
So there are others in the same boat :-)
It's annoying to have to wait isn't it?
