Saw a facelift 5 series today

Just like you guys have been saying, from build date March 07 the facelift is coming, the front headlights are virtually the same, except the main beam projector has a more eyeball effect like on the new 3 series coupe. This one had proffesional nav fitted which now has buttons for preset functions such as radio station. The cool thing about it was you could hover your finger over them and it would come up on the i drive display before you pressed the button, to save you looking down at them which I thought was rather cool. The door trims are much much better, with a decor trim that ran along the top of the door, which would match the dashboard trim you choose, like you use to have on the E46. The window switches are no longer up in the corner of the door trim, and run along the armrest on the door, exactly like the new 3 series coupe. It had led tail lamps which were very nice. All in all no differences really on the outside except the lamps, main changes have been interior. Which is good really, as current owners would be pissed if there was big differences on the outside. So retrofit kits for the lamps like the previous 5 series will be avialble, but you would really have to look really hard to tell ther differences between the front headlamps. but the rears are obviously different because of led technologhy.

Regarding the LED tail lamps, it was suspected that only the blinkers would be LED's. Is this true or are also
the night lights and brake lights LED's...?

Where did you see the facelifted E60, Oracle?
Did you notice any other differences?
- did it have the new X5 style pistol-grip shifter?
- any other changes to the centre console and iDrive binnacle?
- are there hard-keys for air distribution on the climate control?
- is there a new steering wheel?
- what about the materials on the interior, knobs, instrument cluster etc.?
- what colour was the interior you saw, did you see any of the new trims?
- do you notice a different shape to the lower part of the boot/trunk/deck lid?
Any information appreciated...
