Got in my car this evening to find that my satellite radio presets were automatically reset back to the way the car came new (Hits 1, Hits 1, Hits 1...). Has anybody else experienced this?

I have experioenced the same - and affected my FM presets as well. Everything else remained intact. I have also noticed that my RDS setting seems not to take to memory.

What is RDS?

My key memory does not seem to work...safe to assume I need an update?

With you key turned to position 2 program your Sirius presets (just do one or two before wasting time on entire 12 just to prove one way or another). Double check that they work as intended before removing key. Reinsert same key and your presets should return as you set up. If not, key or something else the problem. Try second key to see that it resets your presets. Then program it. Results - if neither key works then something in car electronics hardware/software. If one works and the other does not then u have a ready answer to one of ur problems.

With a build date of 29 March 05 u are not in any great need of update. You should be on 16.1 at least.

u should put ur location in your profile - at least the country. Makes providing answers more accurate.

For RDS (Radio Data System) review this thread and others (do search)

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...dio+Data+System

and

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...dio+Data+System
and probably even more threads.

Good luck
