if the shifts are quicker with the SAT, does this have a real effect on the 0-60 figure?

Do the research. I think yes, but not but 3/4 of a second? BMW site says TBD ... you'd think that they have figured that out by now.

Why is this important? Are you getting a 550i for tracking? or just bragging rights?

Not a 550 a 535d, I couldn't find the time with the SAT anywhere. I'm just curious as my last car was a 911 C4s with tiptronic and I wish I'd bought the manual.
