Sat Nav thinks I am driving backwards!

I have just used the sat nav in my car and it thinks that I am driving backwards. Whenever I am stationary it gets my position but when I move it then goes in the opposite direction....I then end up in the middle of a field...

Has anybody seen this? Got a solution?

Ahahahaha....sorry man don't wana upset you but this stuff is so freaking hilarious.
Maybe the sattelite is upside down or smth. I'm not in the position to give advices on the nav problems since we don't have the maps done...yet.
But that is the wierdest thing i heard lately. )))))))). Driving to the middle of no-where....

I had this exact problem with my car. You need to take it into the dealer for a CIP update. There is nothing that you can do to fix it yourself.

I had this issue on my 2004 530... Yet another day back at the service centre and it was fixed.

I had this problem. It only requires a battery reset, which you can do yourself without taking it in. You DO NOT need a CIP upgrade, as someone posted earlier.
