My Crap Nav has gone mad

According to the map in all orientations I am in the english channel heading towards Le Harve in France.

I had to drive up from the south coast last night, the traffic was typically bank holiday style, but the Nav was stuck.

Spoken to SA today and having a full software update tomorrow.

Has any one experienced this?

And will it be the new software upgrade? Give me your thoughts please

i DRIVE has been playing up recently, the CD has stopped running on after shut down, but now changes to the radio!

This is my third e60, and I am getting p***ed off with this sh**

This happened to me before but it was with a previous version of the software. The NAV put me in the Pacific Ocean a few times. I encountered it with v16, I think. The NAV issue was fixed after updating the software.

There are a cuple of roads I go on that regularly send the sat nav bonkers - distance to destination leaping up 100 miles or so then reverting a couple of miles later. Not sure the reason but happened 2-3 times on same stretch of road.

But be warned also, boatie users are being advised that GPS jamming tests are planned to be conducted on 7th/8th June (Cornwall) and 3rd/4th July and 31 August in Lincolnshire. Don't tyhink this is an April fool, but a test for military equipment impact
