when i bought my e60 i didnt order sat nav due to cost, so i have just bought a portable navman 620 unit,obviosly this is portable kit and sits on your dash, the only complaint is it does not support postcodes , i was wondering how long the bmw system takes to figure out a route, my unit takes about 1 min for a 200 mile route the cost by the way was ?233

My Ride: Oxford Green E60 530D with tuning box and all the toys!
It takes 2-3 secs to get you started and has the complete route in 30 secs. The postcode address entry system isn't brilliant though.
