Sad week-end for my NAV system

My Ride: 530d (Jan 2005) premium pack, pro nav, steptronic
Last week-end I experienced the following bugs (all at different times) with my SAT NAV system (CIP 17.1) : 
- the i-drive system did (twice) an automatic re-boot while driving in nav mode after 20 seconds of freeze on the screen
- in a city, being parked, when I turned the car on, I was not localized by the GPS (current position window : lat/lon/alt=0, no street/city name). It was impossible to select a street name nor to start the guidance mode. After re-starting the computer with "alt-ctrl-del" it was ok
- in the same city, I have been localized on the map at 100 meters from where I was actually driving.
Any idea ?

Waiting for - 535d Sport, Silver Grey, Foldy Mirrors, 172 19",Logic7,Pro Radio,Through load,Heated Front Seats,High Gloss shadowline,Black Maple,Headlight wash,Sun Protection Glass.
Handheld SAT nav is no different, it locks up and gets lost...operating systems are known to crash, the worry I have is it is more intrinsic in the E60 than just SAT Nav. This forum gives me mixed feelings about being an imminent E60 owner, cant wait excitment with hope it doesnt happen to me terror!!

GPS problems do occur. A lot of things can influence on the signals, and sure, the computer can fail to.
