Well after driving my e60 for over 4 years and never been involved in an accident till Saturday. Here's the story I was hit by a young female driver who was going the wrong way down a one way street and blew thru an intersection at speeds of at least 60+mph. SHe nailed the back passenger tire and spun me around in circles.
She was cited with 3 tickets and now i wait to hear the outcome of the repairs......
That totally sucks. I am surprised that your E60 is not damaged much more severly given the speed. Looks like you are one lucky dude.

Glad you weren't seriously hurt. I would push for a total. She has been cited for THREE tickets. You OWN her insurance company. If it were me I'd hire a lawyer. Best of luck.

Absolutely on the money. And how does your neck and back feel as sometimes the soft tissue injuries do not manifest right away??

Sorry to hear. Glad you're okay.

I'm shocked that the quote was that low. I'll be even more surprised if they can get it fixed for anything resembling that amount. Is there any way to get a second opinion? I was in an extremely minor accident where a guy in a truck popped his clutch and the truck jumped over my bumper and hit the trunk. I was quoted $3k+ for a <5mph accident on a Toyota Corolla.

Are they sure there is no frame damage? If so, it should definitely be totaled.

Good luck.

Glad to hear that. It is likely that, after being hit that hard, that you will have some back/neck pain. Hopefully, it will just be soreness that will go away quickly.
