Man I hope your suspension isn't damaged...
I would bet my left nut the whole car is bordering a write off personally, the rear subframe, wishbones, rim etc is going to be definately shot with an impact like that, plus the front strut leg, control arms etc and possible strut tower damage......thats gonna be a huge bill and it the prices of the US cars are anything like the prices here in the UK its probably gonna be close to being un-economic to repair.

Unlucky mate, glad your ok

Have you got rear side air bags, and if so did they deploy ??? ( Just seems lots of E60 accidents where they dont deploy that i've noticed in the past thats all )

Sorry to see that man. Be thankful you are OK, the car can be replaced. Also be thankful you were in this car and not something else, you may have been in worse shape. Things like this make me feel safe driving the car I have, although its big, I can drive knowing they are well built.

I had a bump around 15 years ago, my passenger shouted that there was a car coming as i was leaving a road end. I braked and looked around franticly but couldnt see the car he was refering to. Then i saw this car coming i had no choice but to floor it, the other car just cliped the back end and bounced me off the opposite kerb. It was my dads car at the time and he went ape when I told him, the chasis was bent and the car was a write off. 2 months later i get a call from someone in Liverpool asking me for the service book, the insurance company had auctioned the car. They wouldnt even let my dad buy it back.

I am pretty miffed that it happened in the first place, if my mate hadnt have panniced me it wouldnt have happened. The other car just caught me and no more, i dont think he even tried to brake. Some of the things the other driver said made me think his brakes were dodgy.

Just think of the next car youre gonna get, trust me you probably dont want it back cause you will always be looking for things that arent right. Good luck.

That sucks! I'm glad you are ok though. A milli-second earlier and she could have nailed you on the front end and done even more harm. Also, at least it was the 530 and not the M.
