rusty alloys

the hubs on my alloy wheels are starting to go rusty the car is only four months old, has anyone had this problem and if so did there deale sought it.

My Ride: MY05 545i Jet Black with Auburn interior. SMG, Logic7, Sport Package, Comfort Seats, Navigation.

I just checked my window sticker, and it says "12 years rust perforation warranty included"

Does this means the rust must be making a hole before they will fix it under warranty?

I would think BMW will fix it for you if your rusts were not results from a scratch that you made.

The hubs on most BMW's always looks rusty.

But yes the dealer has a special tool to clean the hubs ( at least they are supposed to have). The procedure is listed on their TIS system
