You can paint them, i just painted mine last week. The dealer will not replace them unless they fail.

i use rustoleum paint, i purchased a quart of it at home depot for about 10 bucks, barely used any of it to do good amount of coats on all 4 calipers. i used a foam brush to apply it on. i know your thinking a foam brush wont apply a nice looking coat...but somehow this paint gets smooth after applied, i was surprised too. anyways mine has been nice and shinny for months now. i think more durable than spray paint and less hassle masking everything.

I painted calipers with spray for wheel rims last summer.

Is it just me or do we have some ugly calipers? IMHO all BMW's excluding the M Models have horrible looking calipers.

i agree wholeheartedly...painting them helps a little bit, but the design is just too "unfinished" looking...looks like a cover or something is missing. How much more expensive would it have been to at least put a cover on them or cast them in a monoblock fashion?

I love my premium slotted and drilled ones w/ Hawk HPS pads from Acute.

No loss from stock OEM and they look great. Great price and it was an easy job for me to complete.
