OK, so you guys convinced me.
I replaced my 3rd set of RFT's for Michelin PS2's today.

Cheaper than runflats, but I had to order the space saver kit at GBP 150 + VAT. Should have ticked that box on the order form for 50 quid or whatever it was.

Gotto admit, they are a lot less noisy. (Although new RFT's aren't that bad, the trouble starts halfway through their usefull life)

Tram lining is gone though..

All-in-all, quite pleased!

Howdy, FF. It's been a while. If you haven't been having flats, you've undoubtedly made the right decision. You must have a lot of miles on that machine of yours now.

I drove a 325 loaner car and it has runflat tire. The noise level was unbelievable!

67,000 miles sofar.

Still waiting for the 745d to hit the UK, so it looks like I'll be driving this one for a while..

Does anyone know if I can swap my front and rear run-flats, for proper tyres, as pairs (the front tyres need replacing now and the rears have a good 10K left in them).

Yes, but personally I like to avoid different types of tyre front to back...
