Does anyone know whether or not we can order new cars without the option of RFT??? Would there be any additional costs involved?
Of course you can! Just don't order the Sport Package - simple as that and you save a bunch at the same time...

Maybe you have a small leak like I do,
mine leaks about 10 psi in two months

After adding air you should reset the iDrive tyre control.

As you have found which tyre has lost air, it is probably a good idea to get it checked by good tyre dealers. A slow puncture may be due to a nail etc. in the tread & a good dealer can repair it ( many posts about the pros & cons of fixing RFTs on here ). But if the tyre is damaged & you continue to drive on it then it is likely to damage tyre beyond repair, which will cost you big time!! & possibly damage your car. I drove 10 miles on flat RFT at slow speed & the car developed new rattles which I entirely blame on the shock transmitted through the car, it felt & sounded awful on flat RFT. Cant wait to get rid of RFTs as they dont make sense to me. Too many drawbacks.

Well the air got out somehow - so either someone let it out, you have a slow puncture or a dodgy valve.

Check it again later and if it's lost air again - get yourself down to the tyre fitters pronto

So if you really don't like someone, simply let some air out of his RFT every now and then and that will drive him crazy!!!
