I am getting ready to order a 545. I wanted to know if the run-flats come only with the sports pkg or are they also standard on the regular suspension cars. In addition, has anyone ordered the auburn interior with silver gray exterior? I realize that the configurator on the BMWUSA site does not allow that color combo, but I also know that they have previously allowed "non-standard" color combos on ordered 745s without additional charge.

BTW, here is what I was thinking of ordering:

2005 545i, Black Sapphire, Auburn, Anthracite, CWP, Logic 7, Comfort Seats, Split Rear Seats, Rear Seat Heating, Rear Sun Shades. MSRP 61,645.

Hopefully, this is going to be a temporary vehicle for 6-12 months use until the higher output engine arrives in the e60 or the e65. The next one hopefully is also going to be fully loaded with SMG.

Siver gray and Auburn! I am assuming the car was ordered by you. Was there an additional charge for getting this color combo?

I have had way too many BMW blacks, grays and sand interiors and currently want to try something different because of which my exterior choice is being driven by what might be available with the Auburn interior. In my opinion, the best exterior color on the E60 is the siver gray, if only I can get it with the Auburn int.

By higher output engine I did not mean the M5 (still do not have the means for one), but I meant the greater displacement one (4.8 or 5.0 liter) that is rumoured to be out next year in the E60 and the revised E65 superseding the 545.
