Hi,

Do you have to replace all four tires when switching to regular tires from run flats? Is there any other configuration that needs to happen, i.e sensors?

Thanks!

You should never mix tires on the same axle. The fronts can be a different a brand/model from the rears, but I would not personally do this. I replaced all four runflats with Michelin PS2 non-runflats even though the fronts were not quite ready. Going forward, I will probably replace the front and rear pairs independently, provided PS2's continue to be made, since the rears wear out faster than the fronts.

LOL, I thought the front will wear out first normally, due to steering etc?

rear wheel drive, so wouldnt the rears wear out faster? and correct me if im wrong, but i think i remember reading somewhere here on the forums about the right rear tire wearing out faster compared to the left rear wheel due to something about the wheel being more powered or something like that.

Thanks guys. So no need to worry about run flat sensors or pressure monitors?

Nope. 545. it doenst have any TPM sensor on the wheel itself... it uses the ABS sensor and wheels speeds sensors to measure "tire pressure" by rotation.

P.S. thats why you should list your car specs in your signature like many people here. with that information we can provide better answers. Luckly you at least listed "545" otherwise there's differences between a like a 2006 550 and 2007 550. on how it measures tire pressure.
