So, I recently noticed that my RPM doesn't go down to 0. The lowest it goes is to around 1000. Has anyone else had this issue or is it normal?

The only thing I've recently done is the exhaust.

Thanks for any help.

haha i hope that is what he means-if you are talking about simply idling engine being at 1rpms-well you better hope it doesnt drop to 0 or that would mean your engine is shutting off on ya-idling just under 1k at idle is perfect and normal. If it doesnt derop to 0 when you car is off-obviously it is 0 since its off and your guage may be just a tad off

Lol ... well atleast you only felt stupid on an anonymous internet forum. Can you imagine if you had taken your car to the dealer to report this "problem" !!!

With only 15471 members that are ROTFL

But we foregive you. I myself have come up with some pretty 'un-standard' questions.

Yes, but we don't know his exact location or know his real name, or what he looks like. I'd take that over having to put up with my local dealer staff pointing and laughing and saying "ha ha, that's him! Look, the one that thought his car was broken!" everytime I went there for the rest of my life
