Hi everyone just wondering where can i get a rpi scoop for a 520d m sport or if anyone here has one fitted. have read that some people have had a 550i scoop fitted in reverse.and tried it. thanks

No point doing this on a Diesel. Its got a turbo and intercooler, adding a scoop won't make any difference.

I might as well just thread-jack, since I have a similar question.

Will the E60 M5 RPI scoops fit on other E60s (specifically the 530i). I might be able to score a used pair, so I want to see if the left scoop will fit on my car. Thanks

It fits and won't do anything. I know it will help a 550 with a Dinan intake but not sure about the smaller engines.

I just picked up the aFe Pro Dry S drop-in filter @ $60USD. I was hoping that the scoop would help with the extra air flow potential. I'm also deleting my muffler soon so less back pressure.

I really wonder if my butt dyno will feel something different after combining these three minor mods. lol

will these scoops "help" channel water into the airbox

lets say your cruising down the highway and its absolutely pouring out. between this and the water mist from the car in front of you, need to worry about water?
