Just a little info, I had the rough idle/valve tapping issue. They performed SI B 11 02 05 (Engine) and it fixed the idle and valve noise. THe only problem was it took almost 4 weeks to complete. It seems that the levers which must be replaced are in short supply and released from Germany on a case by case basis. My car is awsome again, just be prepared to be in a loaner for a while.

OK... I get the Dumbass award this week!
After getting an early appointment for my scheduled service due to a rough idle I am going to pick up my car tomorow AM.
Good news: I got my clear-bra replaced under warranty - sort of (parts not labor) but I'm OK with that. Aux input installed (less than $200). Upgrade to 16.2 (or maybe 16.3?). Put 600+ miles on the 525i loaner that I had (more on that in a bit).
So what caused the rough idle???
Apparently (OK, evidently) the oil fill cover was missing causing a "little" vacuum leak which was causing misfire codes being thrown all over the place.
(No, I wasn't drinking - but maybe a little over-tired)
Not sure how much they're going to hit me for a new oil cap, but I deserve it.

Can't wait to get my 545i back.

After almost a week with the 2005 525i "non-sport" (2K mi when I got it) these are my observations.
This car is about 7/10th's of the 545i. If one is not into wringing out the last 3/10th's of the car, then it is a very capable automobile. It had the 17" 138 wheels with Goodyears. When I first got into it I thought it was an '04 530 (because of the wheels). It seemed to be not-too-bad on my drive home. When I got to my office I looked at the trunk and saw that it was a 525i. I'm thinking the 530i (especially the new 530i) is going to be a great value!
The front is definitely lighter, however the lack of dynamic drive and the tires make this car a very different driving experience. Lets just say that off/on ramps are taken 10mph less than the 545i if not less than that.

I can't wait to get my car back. Needless to say, if you add oil, put the freakin' cap back on! <_<

If you're not looking for the "last 3/10th's" then yes!

Got car back yesterday.

Rough idle is gone:
Oil cap was put back on (Duh!)
Aux Input installed:
Need to play with it a little to get volume / EQ working right.
Upgraded to 16.2:
Perspective view in NAV is pretty cool.
SMG seems to shift much quicker in Sport Mode
(maybe it was a week in a 525i but I swear it shifts quicker)
ClearBra replaced:
It had yellowed quite badly. After a bit of negotiating I got them to replace it for $100.
