Default Rotor thickness for 2008, 528i

Hello everyone.
Can any one let me know the rotor thickness required to be resurface. Want to avoid removing them twice.
I am getting close to do front and rear break pads and want to measure all 4 rotors and see if they can shave them or if I need to start ordering new sets.
Appreciate any advice.
Thanks

i think, I THINK - according to BMW, you're not suppose to shave their rotors. Must replace with new ones along with pads when you do changes.

First, unless you suspect warping or deep scoring most rotors do not need to be replaced or resurfaced on the first pad change and many times even the second pad change (of course the $tealer will tell you otherwise).

You can resurface BMW rotors like any other rotor (again, $tealer will tell you otherwise). All brands of rotors are stamped (on edge of rotor) with a minimum thickness, and if there is the possibility that your rotors have been replaced by non-OE rotors you should check this stamp.

For OE 528i rotors the minimum thickness (mm/in) is 28.4/1.11 for front and 18.4/0.72 for rear.
