i have 2006 bmw 530i with sports package and active steering and have a loud roaring noise coming from the back tires its starts at bou 40 mph. i have changed my tires form the dunlop to pirelli zero nero. so its not a tire problem. i been reading the forums and thought it might be the windshield seal or the sunroof seal. mention to the sa and he say he check it out. he said the noise is coming for the passenger side rear wheel and said the bearing might have been damaged from impact or something like that. he said it not covered under warranty so i have to come up over a grand to fix it. my car only has 20,000 miles on it. and was wondering if anybody else had the same problem. or if this should be cover under warranty? just want to make sure b4 forking out the cash to get it repaired.

 

A loud roaring noise from the rear is not coming from the windshield. That's something I would let the dealer check. Sounds like something more serious than a seal.
