The line is closed.......It will not re open till the conversion for all the F07/10/11/12 is done. Though since the F07 is already showing up I don't think it will be a long process.
Weather Muinch builds the motor and ships it up or the rolling chassis is sent down to Munich there are no more E6x being built.

Despite getting thoroughly slagged off by the motoring press when it was launched as being ugly. ![Tongue](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/tongue.gif)

I have to admit that I was one of those that HATED the E60 when it launched. Now I am a proud and satisfied owner.

Our cars will start to look old when the new model starts selling...
My car is an 05 and since my son starts college next year I will be driving it for while but my next car just might be a 2010 CPO 550i. I have always had the best luck with BMW's at the end of the production runs (06 E46 M3 and 03 E39 525i). I know everyone LOVES the turbos but I prefer NA engines.

For sure, it is a day to be remembered... ![Cool](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)
I was one of the ones who loved the E60 when if was first unveiled and loved it even more as I drove both of my cars daily over a period of [almost] six years.![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)
As much as I love(d) the E60, I'm excited and anxious for the F10. I think it looks great and will likely become an even more successful model for BMW (from a sales standpoint) than the E60 is/was.
