Hey, I just had a question about the headlights on the BMW 5 series. I have noticed that at certain times just the rings in the headlights glow. Is this the parking lights mode or is it something else? Thank you.

The guy who did my ED checkout last year, Bernhard, said at BMW that they like to call them "Eagle Eyes".

There two versions. The version with yellowish glow is actually refered to as "demon eyes" whilst those fitted with the white glows are called "angel eyes". I wonder how this fits in, but i think with the e60 model, I will rather call it the "mean eye" especially with the "eyelid". I wonder what the next look will be like... I am not sure what animal they were trying to imitate... a mean cat?
I love bimmer!

I thought all E60's had the same headlights regardless of xenon or halogen i.e. angel eyes. Not seen the yellow versions! Any pics?
