Hello everyone, fairly new to the forum have been lurking for about 2 weeks. Just got my 2005 545i black sapphire, 6 speed manual, sport, premium sound, cold weather, navigation, the whole works. Absolutely love it.

But I am looking to do some modifications, obviously haha. First thing I?m going to get done is tint, black everything out and rims. I?m really leaning towards the Miro M6 time attacks. I love them but want to hear some opinions if anyone has any. Also how does everyone feel about 20?, I?m pretty sure that?s the size I want but not if it hinders my ride a lot. Thanks for the input and when I get it all done I will post some after pictures.

Congrats on your new car! I would get 20's. As long the tires are 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 then you should be just fine. Where are you located?

Congrats on the new car! Welcome and enjoy the forums! I agree with most I would have gone with 20" if I didn't live up here in the Northeast. I already just bent on of my 19"

Voice of dissention here. I would not go bigger then 19"s. Bigger wheels look cool but as you know you need to keep the overall diameter of the wheel/tire combo close to stock so every inch you increase in the wheel size needs to come out of the tire sidewall. If you live well below the Snow Belt and have very smooth roads you can get away with it. Where I live 20's would be pothole food.

Plus as every one knows bigger wheels mean more unsprung weight and rotational mass which makes the car accelerate a little slower and takes a little longer to stop. But yes they do look cool...
