realoem.com or getbmwparts.com. Provide information about your car, prices are there. About $134.00, dealer price is around an additional 35.00

Broken rear coil springs are somewhat common.

Being serious. You can check for a bad spring or shock, but don't forget your big heavy battery is over there.

Post pics of the car.

Would it be better to buy each size a lowering spring instead?

Yes you can,......

Then you need to do both front AND rear.

By all means check if your spring perch is damaged and the spring is not supported. However, I wouldn't be surprised if you don't find anything wrong with it.

BMW sets the ride height assuming the driver is sitting in the vehicle. This means that the passenger side will be lower than the driver side with nobody in the car. On my 550i M-sport there was almost 1" difference ride height in the rear from passenger to driver side.

Take a measurement on the driver side rear with no occupants, then sit in the car and have your buddy measure again. The ride height will be similar to the passenger side when you're sitting in the car.

Well when I noticed it there was nobody in the car at all. And today I told my buddy to get in the car and I looked at it and there's still a difference in the gap.
