Default *Solved*Right Parking Lamp Malfunction... but still works

*SOLVED* Sorry If I'm posting in this wrong place as I just have joined recently and still trying to find my way around.

On to the issue... When ever I turn the car on it shows Right Front Parking Lamp Malfunction but when ever I turn them on the error goes away but repeats every time I turn the car on and the Parking Lamp(angel eye) Is fairly new (less then 6 months) and works perfectly fine no flicker or random turning off

Any ways to solve this as this is fairly annoying after awhile

Again sorry if this is the wrong place or if there is a discussion of this already

Idk if this helps or not but here is the vehicle info- 07 E60 525i

Check you connections make sure everything is tightly connected.

I'd start by swapping the bulb with the other side. The bulb could just be deteriorating. The car detects a bad blub by sending a quick electrical pulse down to the bulb and looking for proper resistance from the bulb. A burned out bulb has a very large resistance. The electrical pulse is very short and not long enough to light up the bulb. This is also why LED bulbs aren't direct replacements in BMW without some modifications.

I switched the bulbs around and made sure there was a secure connection and the problem still follows on the right side.. Now I would think that it's a wiring issue now but I can't understand how the error goes away when I flick them on :/

What is the exact text of the message you are getting?
Is your car a sedan or wagon?
Does you car have xenon?
What is your car's build date?

I'll look at the Bentley manual wiring diagram tomorrow and tell you if there are any related things on that circuit.

If you haven't checked already, I'd look with a bright light at the contacts inside the wiring connector. The water tight seal could have deteriorated over time and the contacts could be corroded. One thing I've found useful if I can't get my face too close is to use my Canon SLR and take a picture and look at it on my computer blown up. Ccheck the contacts themselves and the seal inside the contact that fits into the blub housing.
