OK, looking for some help here.
I have the 2004 545i with a full CIC retrofit & the modmynav back up cam retrofit.
In short, I got a lot of stuff jammed behind my CIC screen!
So now I want to add an AV in port in addition to everything I already have.
I want to be able to drop an Apple TV2 source into my CIC screen for the kiddies movie needs.
Now:
There are many threads on Dension AV install packages.
But given I already have a 3 input video unit behind my CIC (as the back up & front cam module) this complicates things Im sure.
My thinking is that somewhere (be it a PnP harness or video input or something) Im going to have 2 inputs going to a proprietary connector that will accept only one.
Im open to any / all help in how to accomplish what Im trying to do. Doesnt have to be Dension if thats not the best path.
Once done, Ill post a walk through with pics.
Thanks,
Chris

you are making things more complicated than they need to be. So what is connected to the 3 inputs of your video input. front/rear camera + what? All you need is an AV switch to switch between the inputs on the last modmynav input.
e.g. 3 Way Audio Video AV RCA Switch Switcher Splitter+Cable | eBay

Thanks for your reply Bruce.
As you suspect, I have nothing on that 3rd input.
But help me understand this part please:
The ModMyaNav module is fully integrated into the CIC, but it is for Video only, no Audio.
Obviously I need audio (decent if not perfect) to be added & I dont know how to tie that into the CIC.
Appreciate the link & I get the concept of that product, but Im still unclear on how to get the audio added.
Or, is it as simple as swapping the video module from modmynav with an audio/video module (I believe they offer these). I have an email into Kris & team over there but they are slow repliers & havent replied.
