Strange thing happened, my mirrors no longer dip when I put the car in reverse. I can't seem to find anything on the iDrive menu to correct this. Anyone have this happen or have any ideas?

Did you move the selector for left/Rigth mirror adjustment ?
The mirrors only dip if it is in one position and not in the other ( needs to be on drivers side generally )

I believe you need to have the mirror adjustment button pushed towards the Driver side mirror in order for the passenger side rear-view mirror to turn downward when you put the car in reverse.

so while on this subject ..... can one adjust HOW deep the mirror dips? its nearly angeled at the ground - not too useful when backing up, as you can't see a damned thing behind you. rather unsafe, as you can ONLY see the ground.
out of many cars with dipping mirrors, this one dips the lowest.
