My Ride: Waiting for my car, will be delivered in March..
2005 - 523 / Black Metallic
It depends also on the options you allready have. You should have the regulated airco instead of the "simple" airco.(But maybe in the US all cars have the regulated airco).
Normally when you order the HUD you have to order the regulated airco as well. (ate least here in holland) It has something to do with the wiring in the car. My dealer told me there are 2 types of "cable trees" in the car.

Welcome aboard, hullie
!
That's correct.
New dashboard, new windshield, new wiring harness and advanced AC if not allready installed, labour...
If you know how much the wiring harness costs, you know that the answer to the question isa clear: NO WAY! It's easier to sell your car and buy a new one, it's cheaper this way.

It would be easier to weld an LCD screen on a stand to the front bumper and then mount a video camera near the driver's seat headrest so it could be aimed at the dash and send the images to the LCD outside. This way, you could have the gear indicators in the "HUD" as well...
