hi guys

i have a 2005 e60, it had the same problems and i had a 2 independant bmw specialist try turn of the lights with their tool/computer. both their tools said that their was a fault in the explosion cable/+ve battery cable. so i bought a new one and replaced it and they both tried turning the lights of again, but with no success.

after several weeks FXXXXXG about i took to the dealers and they put their computer on it and reset the lights.

take it into the dealers

Just took my 05 545 into the dealer last Friday. In spite of me being out of warranty, they replaced the Passenger seat mat and charged me nothing. I am only at about 52,000 +/-. Very pleased and surprised.

Hey guys,

I have a 2004 525i, OUT of warranty. Pass. Restraint System error popped in my idrive two weeks ago, I called the dealership and said that I looked online and saw that there is a possible recall for this, the guy put me on hold for a second, came back and said there is an open recall campaign for this. I scheduled an appointment for the next day and got it fixed for FREE.

They also gave me a loaner, a 2009 328i, which I had an accident with before I returned it to the dealership.. It's all covered under insurance tho..

I dropped the car at the dealership today for this recall. Dropped car in the morning and got car back in the evening same day. Receipt shows mat was replaced. And it's free . I also had a brand new 528i loaner (200 miles on the odometer) .
