Well after my long list of issues with my 530d that were identified a couple of weeks ago, they have fully completed the job yday... i am very impressed with the service with my local dealer (Cooper Ipswich,UK)

Steering sqeak - verified and now fixed. They added a special additive into the power steering fluid that doesnt DRY when put under high temp, hence why the normal fluid made it squeak. common fault she said ( i knew that anyway) - problem fixed

car miss firing when started from cold/rough idle - a code was raised with the glow plug control unit - changed the unit and now problem fixed (it seems)

poor key fob reception - problem verified and yday they put in a new replacement diversity antenna. my fobs now work from FARRR AWAY!!!

heater doesnt heat up - they couldnt find a problem with this, and said the engine got upto 95degrees when from hidden menu i didnt see it go above 70 BUT this is now fixed, wonder what they did!!!

and the last thing...

"sir, we are changing your inlet manifold", i said "why?" he said they found an oil leak... then i said is it to do with swirl flap removal, and he smiled and said "yes" so fantastic i get it swapped out for free

result i'd say!!!
