i have the old key and no sound came out. But i definitly felt a dramatic change. try it again today.turn the key twice,pedal to the metal for 40s(just to be on the safe side).take key off for 5s(prob a myth but do it anyways) than insert the key again it should work. if not then u prob need a software update as a slam from 2-1 gear and 3-2gear is well known.

 

The sound you hear is the DVD from the navi pro system powering down...thats why some hear something..some dont..
