Hello.. I bought a 2010 528 certified with 25k on it.. I'm almost at 30k now and the 30k service reminder is coming up telling me to schedule appt with BMW 1300 miles from now.

I followed online instructions holding down taco-meter and i was able to get the service code to reset to 30,000 on the speedometer screen

however...if i go back into the idrive menu and look at services.. it still tells me to set up appt in 1300 miles
will that go away once i get to 0? or is there something else i need to do to reset?

 

For the reset instructions to work you need to reset the trip meter to zero first. Then follow the instructions to reset the service reminder.
