My dealer did the MOT at the same time as a service, but forgot to update the statutory inspection on the service indicator. Rather than go back in specially have tried to reset myself.

Can find lots on this forum regarding resetting the oil indicator - and get to this part of the menus fine. But when try to reset the statutory inspection, gets some wording in german and fails to reset. I wonder if this has been made more difficult than the oil to avoid amateurs claiming it is done without getting the test?

Anybody succeeded with this one ?

 

You can change the MOTdate yourself in the service menu.... Look it up in your manual, its says how to do it
