Anyone know how to reset the service indictaor? 2005 525d e60

this has been covered on the forum several times before.

but heres how (if i can remeber correctly)

1. put the key in so that all the lights on the dash are on. ie the key should be turned to position 2, and the engine SOULD NOT BE ROLLING OVER.
2. press the little button/stick on the dash near the speedo (the same one you us to zero the miles) and keep it pressed. you will see the triangle with a ! mark in it. keep it pressed and you will see the oil icon (same as the icon on the idrive)
3. at this point let go of the button/stick and press again till quickly and scroll through the different icon till you get to the service icon
4. once you get the correct icon keep the button/stick pressed in and you should get the messege displayed RESET.
5. let go of the button/stick and then quickly press it and keep it pressed and that should reset the service menu.
