Hey guys I have bought a crashed E60. Nothing terminal and I am fixing it myself. But the airbags deployed and have all the new kit including a new airbag module. I was just wondering once I plug the new module in how will I go about getting it coded to the car?
By the way I have INPA and NCSExpert if that can be used
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers
Chris

You will need to reset the module. If you stay with the old module use ncs expert and run a blank.man to the module after you replace the airbags. If however, you replace the module then use Winkfp to reprogram and add your vin then use ncs expert to reset as mentioned earlier. Clear the codes with INPA. Make sure the battery is disconnected before you touch anything to do with airbags.
